Stage 2 Tuning package
With the move to the B6 3 Litre based Turbo engine in the 991 Generation 2 Carreras, the opportunity to take the base car and upgrade the power is now available. Nine Excellence being the leading developers of Porsche Tuning packages (9E Package) have developed tuning and other upgrade options.
The stock Carrera GTS outputs 450ps. Our base package offers 100ps increase and our stage two package with exhaust system offers 130ps increase over the stock car. Performance is significantly increase whilst retaining the driveability that you would expect from the stock car.
The base package incorporates but not limited to
- full inspection of the car
- boost leak check
- upgraded plugs
- fitment of Kline 100 Cell Stainless Steel exhaust system
- tuning
- testing (using performance box) to confirm that the car is performing within parameters.
Importantly our maps are programmed in line with Porsche standards. Porsche target 11.76 Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) when on full boost We highly recommend fitting some of the options that are available. Please call us for more information on those.
Notes:
1, PDK is fine to hold this additional power. We do check the PDK operation first to make sure there is no known issues.
2. For Manual cars currently on the cars we have done the clutch is not slipping since the clutch is relatively new - however we do expect that upgrading the clutch will be necessary at some point due to the additional power.
